House Clearance Fazeley

SRW Services clears homes in Fazeley, Mile Oak and Bonehill for families after a bereavement, executors, owners getting ready to sell and landlords preparing a rental for new tenants. We provide house clearance Fazeley households can rely on, with one careful team taking away the furniture, appliances and household items you no longer need, whether that is one wardrobe or a whole house.

Efficient

Each job is looked at before the day, so the team arrives knowing the order of the rooms, the van space needed and how the heaviest pieces will come out of the house.

Courteous

We treat a family home with respect and handle personal belongings with care. Outside, we park with thought for the street and its neighbours, and keep the work tidy while the van is loaded.

Trustworthy

We are licensed waste carriers and fully insured, and waste goes to licensed or registered waste transfer stations. All our work is guaranteed, whatever the size of the job.

Affordable

The home visit and quote are free, so you know what the job involves before you decide. There is no skip permit to arrange and no waiting for a collection, as the team carries everything out.

About SRW Services

SRW Services is a family run house clearance business, established in 1999, with fully qualified staff. Our base on Bloxwich Road North in Willenhall is about 14 miles from Fazeley.

Fazeley is part of Lichfield District but lies about 1.3 miles south of Tamworth, within the Tamworth built up area. Watling Street runs through the centre as the B5404 and is crossed at Mile Oak by the A453 Sutton Road, while the A5 passes between Fazeley and Tamworth. Bonehill lies about 800 metres west of the town, and all three are a straightforward drive from our base.

Clearing Fazeley's Mill Terraces and Bonehill Lanes

The historic core of Fazeley grew as a mill community between about 1790 and 1850, and the streets around the central junction of Lichfield Street and Coleshill Street still hold rows of red brick workers’ terraces, most of them three storeys high. Clearing one of these usually means two flights of stairs, sometimes narrow ones, so we start at the top floor and allow time to bring heavy pieces down carefully rather than rushing them.

Bonehill calls for a different approach. The hamlet keeps a rural feel, with narrow roads that have no pavement or a pavement on one side only, and some roads that are unadopted. Before anything is lifted, we agree where the van can stop and how far each load has to be carried. The same check can be worthwhile on Mill Lane, where some homes face directly onto the canal.

Around the edges of the town lie large areas of post war and later 20th century housing. There the planning centres on the size of the home and whatever is waiting in the loft, garage or garden.

What Happens on Clearance Day in Fazeley

The work is usually carried out by a team of two or three people, with more for a larger property. Nothing goes in the van until it has been sorted, as agreed with you, into four groups: keep, donate, recycle and dispose. Anything staying behind is kept clear of the work.

Suitable items are donated to charity and as much as possible is recycled, which keeps waste out of landfill. What is left goes to licensed or registered waste transfer stations. Once the rooms are empty, we sweep up behind us so each space we have worked in is left tidy and ready for whatever happens next.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Fazeley and Bonehill conservation area covers the historic parts of the town and the hamlet, and leaves out most 20th century housing. In older homes we take extra care with doors, stair rails and walls as things are carried out. Point out anything you particularly want protected when we look at the job, and we will plan the route out around it.

No. Appliances go in the van with the rest of the load, so there is no separate collection to book. Where the van cannot stop by the door, we plan for the longer carry and bring enough people to move heavy appliances safely the whole way.

The home visit is the best time for it. Walk through each room with us and agree, piece by piece, what stays and what goes, so the plan can be settled in a single trip. Talk through the arrangements for clearance day with us while we are there, and we will agree an approach that suits you.

Go through drawers, cupboards, coat pockets and boxes for paperwork, bank cards, photographs, spare keys and jewellery, as these are easy to miss once a room is busy. In the taller houses of the old centre, give the top floor rooms the same attention as the ground floor, and remember the loft, shed or garage.

No. The River Tame at Fazeley Bridge marks the line between Lichfield and Tamworth districts, but it changes nothing about how we work. Whether the home is in Fazeley, Mile Oak or Bonehill, the job is planned, carried out and finished with the same care.

Our 3 Simple Steps to a Clearance:

A clearance in Fazeley comes down to three steps, from your first message to the day the last room is emptied.

Get a quote

Call or send a message with the address, the rooms involved and anything bulky or awkward, such as a large sofa or a packed loft. We then arrange a home visit to look at the job, and you get a clear quote to think over.

Set a date

Agree a day with us that suits you and anyone else involved, subject to the diary. If you are working to a deadline, tell us early and we will try to fit around it.

We clear the property

On the agreed day, the team arrives with the van and clears the rooms set out in your quote. Only the things you have chosen to part with are taken away.

How Can We Help You?

Alongside full house clearance, we handle flat clearance, garage clearance and garden clearance in Fazeley. For loose junk, old furniture and bags of household waste, rubbish clearance is a practical alternative to hiring a skip: there is no permit to arrange, no waiting for collection, and we carry everything out. Businesses can arrange office clearance. When a home needs emptying after a death, bereavement and probate clearance can cover the whole property or only the rooms the family is ready to let go of.

Our team also covers neighbouring Tamworth, including Glascote, whose two locks on the Coventry Canal lie about a mile from Fazeley Junction, and Wilnecote, beyond Two Gates on the Tamworth side of Fazeley Bridge. To arrange a free quote, get in touch.

Fazeley
House Clearance

We clear houses of every size in Fazeley, Mile Oak and Bonehill, and the loft and garage can be cleared as part of the same job.

Fazeley
Garden Clearance

We clear garden waste, broken outdoor furniture, old pots and the contents of crowded sheds in Fazeley and take it all away in the van. It is a useful step before a house goes on the market, or when you simply want the garden back.

Fazeley

Sometimes only a spare bedroom, the loft or one floor of a Fazeley home needs emptying, and we can clear just that part.

Have had the pleasure of srw removal services several times over the last 10 years. Recommended by my parents I decided to give them a try after a competitive quote. Throughout it almost seemed like they treated my property like it was their own with due care and attention being made from one property to the other. More than happy to leave these guys a recommendation as I wouldn’t hesitate to book them again if needed.
